Student work celebrated during Gateway presentations

Over the last few weeks, the Harvest Collegiate community has been celebrating the hard work of students who presented their Gateway projects to their peers, families and teachers.

More than 140 presentations were given during Gateway Symposia as panels of students shared their analysis in Science, Math, English Literature and History. Students are required to successfully present two of their four Gateway projects to be promoted to Harvest’s Upper House.

Topics included Reading Motivations, Manhood and the Mind in A Raisin in the Sun, understanding the cause and effect of genocides–both the Holocaust and Rwanda 1994 and the moral imperative of preventing another and the beauty of precise dimensions, symmetry and constructive calculations in the construction of our school building.

Another round of presentations will be given this Friday, June 13th.
